MMS comes in the form of two bottles. One is liquid sodium chlorite and the other is citric acid (there are other acids that can also be used). The active chlorine dioxide is a gas which is produced approximately 1 minute after mixing the sodium chlorite (Naclo2) with the citric acid. The results are diluted with water and then orally.
